Shifter clearance

I just installed the JKS 1.25" body lift and 1" MML on my jeep. Now it likes to pop out of second gear, and I'm almost certain that there is an issue with the shift lever contacting the center console. I'm not sure if the hole in the floor is bigger that the hole in the console. Can anyone provide me with insight or pictures of what they have done, or ideas for clearancing my console without cutting a huge hole in it. Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem with mine, it was caused by the shifter coming into contact with the center console. I fixed it by pulling the shifter boot up and cutting the 3/8" thick piece of foam rubber off the shaft then put the boot back on. If that doesn't cure it, you'll need to shift the entire center console back some.

I also had the same problem after a transfer case drop and adjusted the console but it still didn't help. I used a rat tail file to grind away some of the tub around the shifter and that did it! No problems here!!

I fixed mine today. It was binding up a little when I was shifting into second. I just pulled the boot up to look at it and there is one of those little c rings in the shifter to keep the boot up. I just pulled that off and moved it up. Seems to have fixed everything. When you are driving pull the top of the boot up and then shift into second. If that works that is all your problem is.
