serpentine belt replacement?

what is the recommended mileage to replace serpentine belt in a 4cyc TJ?
my TJ is a 97 with about 138K on it. it's got small cracks on it across it. Not sure if its getting ready to fail on me or what but just wondering if it's a good idea to replace sooner, rather then later. i dont know if the original owner ever replaced it....would it be possible for it to last 138K?

thanks guys

Replace it and toss the old one in your bag of spare parts

This ^^

Just replaced the belt on my '97 4cyl last week. Picked up a goodyear gatorback as I'v liked the ones we have put on our trucks. Always quite and no chirping. So far so good with the jeep too

At 138k, it's more than likely been replaced once already. If it has cracks, it's time for a new one.
