This contest is just so hard!~ I had the hardest time picking but I chose GUNKEL since his rig was literallly brought back from the dead and you would never even know it! I love his build thread! Just a beautiful jeep! If I had a 2nd choice I would have chose REDLYNER. one of the cleanest setups I have ever seen!

Great jeeps everyone!! Good luck!

Gunkel....and not just because I'm a Rescue Green junkie.

Great looking rigs fellas. Congrats for making the cut. Regardless of who wins, it's pretty cool to be in the contest. I'm hoping my TJ makes it in the running for this some day.

well, if people want to mix it up and ensure that they have a decent chance of getting in the top ten - the only way i see it is to eliminate the judges entirely and pick a random top 10 though that would pretty much turn the contest into bingo

if people are unhappy, offer a suggestion - because im talking out of my *** and ive set this whole contest up the best way i know how.

so like i have said time and TIME AGAIN. IF ANYONE HAS A SUGGESTION ON HOW TO IMPROVE THE CONTEST PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND I WILL TAKE IT INTO SERIOUS CONSIDERATION

spyder6:

Can I be a judge?

Reason being is that I'm an outsider looking in. Like, I have a totally different outlook on what Jeep is. Maybe that is what y'all need.

I'm not gripping or taking one side over the other. Just making a suggestion.

thanks, but our judge quota is full. if someone steps down or is forced out i'll let you know.

we're all outsiders, we have a very diverse group of judges - half of which own stockish or inoperable jeeps

Spyder6, I've been running Grand Cherokee of the Month for 9 months now. Don't hesitate to PM if you have any questions or need suggestions on how to run the contest better. GCOTM has gone through it's fair share of changes over the last 9 months and IMO is at it's best right now.

Ok, well remember it for future reference that Tedder is on that waiting list for judges.

And I'll happily take on the position.

Will, you have done a damn fine job with the TJoTM. I'm not seeing much need for any drastic changes. I say just do the minor tweeks as you see fit.

FWIW... it's JF, there will always be someone whining about something. And if they don't, I will!

Yep, I've got one of each. Rubi with small lift, stock tires, and a driver that can't figure out what he wants to do with it.

Then, there's the rustbucket in the driveway with a blown exhaust manifold gasket, and leaking AT fluid. It is totally stock except for the gallons of aftermarket AT fluid that keeps getting replaced

So, yep, there's a diverse group of judges. I guess we're all outsiders as I don't know if I'm sure what an "insider" is...

What if the top 10 from that month turn into next month's judges. Say September's top 10 turn into October's 10 judges. That way you can enter every other month, which will eliminate having the same rigs up there every month...I know there are faults in that plan, and I am perfectly fine with how it's being ran now, but that could make other's happy...

That's not a bad idea.
