there is at least one write up on here of how to make seat risers with a cordless drill and basic hand tools. Where you sit is a factor of safety in an accident, this isn't an area you want screw up.

you can use the hoceky pucks or what i did, and what several other people did was order some t1 aluminum square stock. cut it to the length you want, drill holes. and the bolt it up. i didnt feel that safe with the pucks.

Here's what a hockey puck does when you try to get 30 ft lbs of torque on a bolt through the puck.

Looks like he already did bump up to a bigger washer. Maybe you were being sarcastic though?

I made my own out of aluminum bar stock.

Ended up costing me 30$ due to shipping. If I made them the same size as the ones I have seen online I could have done both seats. I chose to have more surface area with the floor and just do one seat.
