Jack the frame of the Jeep up 3", that should work

The right way to do it is install everything and then measure the distance. Then give Tom Woods a call. You can also talk with them and they can get pretty close if you can't wait.

Nope. The TC case is bolted to the transmission. The transmission mount which holds the back of the transmission rests on the skid. If the skid goes up, it pushes the transmission up which takes the attached TC up with it. The TC output shaft moves up however much the bottom of the skid moves up (minus any savings from the low profile Trans mount).

I think he is talking about the low profile mount when he mentions the difference in skid raise between t-case raise. That is the "...is the way the skid fits." thing.

Just to clarify, the t-case mount does not rest on our skid. It has exactly nothing to do with our skid.
The new mount we supply with the Under Armor package bolts to the stand alone crossmember and the new exhaust hanger bolts to the side of the mount.
You all can hash and crunch numbers until the cows come home and it won't change the height down from the frame and the amount of distance there is between the bottom of the frame and the bottom of the tub. We've forced everything to be as tight as possible and still not rattle or rub.

i know it wont rattle or rub, but id take a little bit of it to get rid of my shovel under my jeep. Of course i would call you immediately if it did rattle Blaine.
to anyone that is worried about the rear drive shaft on an LJ, your better off getting a SYE and good double cardan rear drive shaft rather than to worry if its going to work or not. I didnt need one when i put my 4 inch currie lift on, but i did it anyways, i figure im getting the savvy under armor anyways so why not just prepare for it. I dont Blaine to say no to me when it comes time to beta the rubi skid because i dont have all the stuff i need to test fit it correctly!!

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the 241 shorter than the 231? That reasons to stand that a Rubi has less of a chance to get a vibe than a regular TJ or LJ (comparing a TJ Rubi to a TJ and an LJ Rubi to an LJ). 4" is pushing it even for an LJ, I think the shorter case is helping.

The rubi case doesnt have a slip yoke like the stock 231. But i think if you put a ss sye on a 231 its shorter than a rubi case. Anyone that would add a double cardan rear driveshaft to a 231 wouldnt have the problem your talking about, they would be adding a sye.

I was talking stock compared to stock. I actually thought a 231 with a regular SYE is a tad shorter than the 241. I was just bringing that up because it could be why you don't have vibes with 4" on an LJ when others might.
Edit: If anyone has the sizes for the different t-case setups, that would be pretty awesome.

I'm hoping today the shop will tell me the date when I can start shipping units. The LJ when together well except the new exhuast hanger needed a tweak. We'll see the revision and should be good to go.
Then I'll be contacting everyone who fits our criteria.
Thanks,
Gerald

If it matter I don't have stock exhaust.. But i have a muffler and it dumps right before the rear differential. could tell you guys if people with aftermarket exhausts will have the same problem as stock exhausts.

Understood. Thanks for the clarification. Makes sense given the pictures you've shared of the new cross member. I think the point I was making to the other poster still stands though about the amount of lift the driveline is seeing. Based on stock setup which does rest on the skid not sure of any way to move things up without moving up the TC output shaft.

Be very careful with the wife mod. Uninstallation can be extremely expensive. Wife mods have been known to take the Jeep and all other mods during the uninstall process. Also, make sure you service your wife mod properly as often as humanly possible. Wife mods not properly serviced may malfunction or uninstall themselves at any time.
