Not much going on with the Spartan.

The 2014 KOH EMC JK is in full swing and taking up alot of our time.

Billet Chromoly Johnny Joints. The very best joint available. They are used with aluminum arms.

Coming together quickly.

You mentioned in an earlier post you were building this LJ for helldorado. So with the engine swap you'll have the power but what wheelbase are you shooting for?

I ran helldorado earlier this month and your not going to make it up that waterfall without a lot of wheelbase

110" makes Upper Helldorado doable. My Jimmy's buggies are 110" and have no problems going right up. The problem with the LJ is the belly is so big in comparison to a buggy so we'll see how it does.

Yeah. You told me the same thing but Campbell says otherwise. They only make them in grey now, scoop or flat is right. Shipped mine in about 2 weeks out of Arizona. But they only ship it out to certain shipping companies that will not do deliveries. I had to pick mine up about 2 hours away from the house.

Savvy, Are you going with the JK slim grill and hood or the campbell set up? I have seen a few people cut these hoods down the center to get the width they wanted. Could you do an indept write up if this is your plan?

When I ordered mine they said I could have it delivered to my house, but it would be more expensive. They recommended that I have it sent air freight. I had to pick my hood up myself also, but I only had to drive across town to the local air freight warehouse.

The Spartan is going to use the OEM grill. I'm not narrowing it. The hood I got from the Campbell is stock width. This is our next mule.

We don't sell parts to pro drivers or have pro parts. We do have the experience most don't possess. You have to remember we are old guys that can't handle an 8-12 hour race. Procomp, Rubicon Express, 4Wheel Parts, Teraflex, Smittybuilt, Clayton, Poison Spyder and Off Road Evolution are just a few of the Companies we are competing against and guess what they are all in the EMC. So you are saying the other companies are no competition. Maybe you are right but they will catch up soon. Eric Miller and Jesse Haines are not slouches either.

Dave Cole the owner has specifically said that is what these classes are for. We can't help it that we are schooling the field the last couple of years in a stock class Jeep but that is racing. We are proving we have the knowledge and experience to back our parts by testing them in the most abusive environment. You always remember a winner never a loser.
