Savvy Spartan LJ

Since I sold all of my LJs and Larry McRae of Poison Spyder just finished the beautiful Daddy Longlegs I need to make something to compete with him. On friendly terms off course.

The Savvy Spartan will be our latest creation with all of the best parts available. The Spartan started life with Savvy as a Salvaged 2004 Unlimited. We are basing the build off the KOH LJ that won 2012 and 2013 Overall Everyman Challenge. We built what we know works in the rock and fast stuff.

Here is the tentative list of products we will be installing and discussing. throughout this thread.

Savvy Off Road Aluminum Bumpers
Savvy Off Road Steel Winch Guard
Savvy Off Road Aluminum Rocker and Steel Sliders
Savvy Off Road Aluminum Corner Armor
Savvy Off Road Stainless Steel Tub Slider
Savvy Off Road LED Tail Lights with Low Profile Billet Housings
Savvy Off Road Aluminum Half Doors
Savvy Off Road Aluminum Gas Tank Skid
Savvy Off Road Aluminum Under Armor
Savvy/Currie Mid Arm Suspension which is custom
Savvy Aluminum Links with Currie Johnny Joints
Savvy Off Road Roll Cage
Currie RockJock 60 Front Axle with Detroit 5.38 Gears, JK Brakes
Currie RockJock 60 Rear Axle with ARB 5.38 Gears, JK Brakes
Currie Antirock Sway Bars front and rear
King Shocks
PSC Hydro Assist Steering
Campbell Enterprises Fiberglass Hood
Viair Compressor
Warn Xeon Winch
Rigid LED Lights
Tom Wood Drive Shafts 1350 U-Joints

Gerald, between you and Blaine you guys are going to bankrupt me! And blue...are you trying to make me jealous! Blaine already told me how much I needed a Savvy rear bumper. It's about the only Savvy part I don't have.

So here we are today. The hood and fenders are temp as we are going a fiberglass highline. Everything gets installed and fitting then deinstalled for paint. I think I'm going to polish the aluminum and then black chrome powder coat. We'll see how it turns out.

Be very careful with the wife mod. Uninstallation can be extremely expensive. Wife mods have been known to take the Jeep and all other mods during the uninstall process. Also, make sure you service your wife mod properly as often as humanly possible. Wife mods not properly serviced may malfunction or uninstall themselves at any time.
