that is alot brighter, was it the brightness at a distance that people were complaining about LED's or was it brightness if you weren't looking straight into the LED's?

My guess is; They would appear as only one brake light turning on and off with a frequency of about 1 second. A left side blinking light would indicate an intended turn to the left while a right side blinking light would indicate an intended turn to the right.

Turn signals use the same circutry as the brake lights. So, the LEDs in brake lights are also used in the turn signals. Just picture the brake lights flashing and that will be your turn signals.

They are bright!

Here are the anodized black units. They are really nice! The hard anodized housing are coated to MIL-A-8625 TY.III CL.2 BLACK. Whatever that means. They are a deep satin black. You can stratch them like paint but they are tough. They are not suppose to fade very easily.

What is stratch? I didn't know you could scratch anodizing off?

I thought the same. Blaine will jump in here to address that.

I installed them on the LJ and they look sharp!

why couldnt these be put on a yj?

yes you can scratch anodizing. i have tons of equipment with the super strong black variety, and lots of scratches. anodizing itself is the application of a form of corrosion. just like the regular old corrosion it can be removed. nothing on this planet is "permanent."
