I had to tell my roommate that the LJ in the pic was a thing of beauty, he said "Just make your Jeep like that one". If I could just Savvy up I would, I asked him if he would buy me a bunch of Savvy stuff, he said no(I told him he could sell his civic to fund it, but he still said no), I guess I'll have to save

Gerald, didn't you want to polish all of the savvy stuff?
You know me. I would love to polish everything. The problem is when people look at the Jeep they really don't know what we make unless I tell them. A prime example was at KOH where I had the the blacked out 04 Rubi and the LJ displayed.

Most everyone really liked looking at the unfinished products as they could get their hands on our products and touch the finish and welds. I had to point out that the 04 parked right next to the LJ had all of our products on it as well.

That is actually believable. It is still nice having the extra luggage to show how unnoticeable it can be though. Really you could see about getting the stuff for the show Jeep Laser etched with savvy in it. You could also just paint the logo on each product, and just leave the rest bare with a clear over the whole thing.

I really think you should take 10 steps back, and hop off of Gerald and Blaine's nuts.

blaine has already discussed how he will never put a logo on anything Savvy, even his own stuff. hes anti-advertisement unless you want a sticker to slap on it.

Ok.. I never saw him say that. That does sound like Blaine though.

Gerald, looks like you have to continue explaining what savvy makes.

This thread was the first time I noticed this.

That being said, I just ordered some parts from Savvy that should be in transit... not stuff that they manufacture, but they had the best price and the KOH10 coupon made a good deal sweeter.

I'll get Saavy at some point... too many other things to address first.

Not speaking for Gerald because that's NOT how we roll, but for me, they aren't that big and just a few inches will be just fine.

I don't mean to be insulting, but the way he posts in your threads, I'm surprised your wives haven't asked for a divorce. Poor Gerald must have a hard time staying awake.

We're working on a nicer sticker that you can peel off and toss in the trash should you feel the need.

If your design abilities don't set you apart from the rest of the herd, then by all means, let your laser do your talking.

Kidding aside, I strongly feel it's up to the customer and their choice if they choose to advertise and I will never force them to do it for me.

I have personally passed on buying many products because of the inability to remove advertising. Also, I don't think it's fair to drive up the cost.

Take Poison Spyder for instance. I know what laser cutting costs and that logo they have cut out in all their stuff easily adds 5-6 bucks to the COST of each item each time it's cut. By the time you get that to the retail level, you're paying an additional 20 bucks per piece to advertise for them. A set of rock rails is costing 40 bucks or so.

You lost me with your inferences, but I consider Gerald one of the best friends I've ever had. If you're talking about us razzing each other, come and spend a day around the campfire with us, it's non stop.

Oh man... epic fail for Spyder then. I was saying that you guys should laser ENGRAVE (not cut) or paint the stuff FOR THE SHOW JEEP. I already knew that Blaine wouldn't want to plaster his company all over the side of customer products.

People, read carefully
