Will do!

Oh... and this just showed up:

Next step: powder coater.

Step after that: mass confusion

(you should see all of the hardware)

Be very careful with the wife mod. Uninstallation can be extremely expensive. Wife mods have been known to take the Jeep and all other mods during the uninstall process. Also, make sure you service your wife mod properly as often as humanly possible. Wife mods not properly serviced may malfunction or uninstall themselves at any time.

I have seen it all. You think drooling over this is bad, you should stand in the shop. It's more like a flood.

The first thing I needed to do is install the tub sliders so that I can get the one nutsert hole drilled in the side of each corner. I don't want to have to drill into them after they have been powder coated.

Step one is to remove the five rearward most top mounting screws from each corner (the ones that go through the backers).

stp1.jpg

You also have to remove the outer most upper mounting screw from the rear of each corner.

stp2.jpg

Easy enough, the nuts on the inside of all of these screws are easy to access (especially with the top off).

These holes will be where the carriage bolts will go through the tub (and backers on the sides) after they are slid into the tabs on the back of the sliders.

Then you have to find the bolts... : (maybe they're here somewhere)

If that's the color of your Jeep, you had it pretty well covered in mud for your avatar.

I always thought it was something along the lines of the Impact Orange color. Not even close.

An impact orange mail truck would be sweet. I think the most outrageous color I have seen on one was Patriot blue though.

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)

Hornblasters Shocker S4 horn set with some extras $210 shipped. (It is not OBA, just an accessory for OBA)

"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

The lady that used to have this one now has a bright yellow RHD JK.

But, I'm moving all of this chatter and intstall pictures to my build thread. This thread is supposed to be about the Savvy LJ....

I just got home from the Rubicon and checked to see where your Under Armor Kit was. It is still here! At least it is all packaged up. I'm terribly sorry and it will go out UPS tomorrow.

Sorry for the delay!

Thanks,

Gerald
