Savvy bumper+towbar mounts.

I need to haul the Jeep back down to the desert this weekend, I had got the tow bar which came with plates to mount on a flat face bumper which I do not have. I looked at the Currie mounts which go under the bumper and while strong, I don't want more crap to drag on the rocks. So I called Blaine up and presented my problem and below is the solution he not only fabbed for me but shipped out in no time at all. The initial thought was that he adapt the plates that I had to fit on top but my dumb *** misunderstood and I only sent one to serve as a jig for the brackets he made me. My apologies again Blaine for making things harder than they need to be as I am known to do, and thanks again for saving my *** again in the nick of time.
Pics!!!!

The nice part is I can leave the brackets on the rig so if I need to drag it back from somewhere else I just attach the tow bar and the lights and roll, and I didn't have to remove my hooks.

Please excuse my ignorance when it comes to flat towing, but is that all you need at that end to hold the two vehicles together?

Yes, I know the Currie brackets were sorta like that before and they work just fine from a strength standpoint, I've simply never seen a flat towing setup in person but it looks interesting.

It looks like someone took one of those rollers you flatten dough with and flattened a bat, bumper looks like its got wings on the sides, and there's no dring tabs, just seems like there's nicer looking options for cheaper/ have more options... but what do I know, what does my comment on another thread have anything to do with this one?

It doesn't take much... here is a shot of another Blaine solution on my truck. Look closely at the bottom of the light bar.. those 2 tabs are what connects my truck to the towbar.

What's funny is I was there the day he made yours Robert, that's why I knew he could make mine work.
