Saddle bags

Has anyone tried using saddle bags for a TJ with OEM soft top

I got one on eBay, it doesn't interfere with the top, but I have an '04 and I had to use some of the straps that came with the jeep to get it to fit, the roll bars must be spaced different. It doesen't have any tags, I don't know what brand it is, I have a link at home for some real nice looking ones, I can post it tomorrow if that helps.

I too was looking at them, they do have saddle bags marked for 2004's. I would be afraid to use them with the side windows in for fear they could scratch the plastic, no? But with the windows out, how secure (in relation to driving, not being stolen) are they?

I'm only able to get 3 of the 4 straps secured, it hasn't moved an inch. great for keeping straps, extra sweatshirts, t.p., tools, etc.
