rust proofing 101: if you're thinking about POR-15

Hey guys and gals, never thought about this before, i did this write up on my jeep during the fall and we posted it up on our club site, thought it would help out anyone who was thinking about using por-15. i think i covered almost everything needed/used in it! hope this is helpful!

Just out of curiosity, why did you use Rustoleum for the top coat instead of the POR-15 Chassis black? Cost?

OK, but give us an update after it goes through a winter. Even 99cent Walmart paint on the frame stuff looks good right after it's done.

winter is pretty much over here in maine and its been working great so far! i also spray my undercarriage with used motor oil, it helps keep the salt off of everything.
