Rugged Ridge Bumper
Hey I was wondering if anyone here has or knows anything about the Rugged Ridge rock crawler style bumper. If not can anyone tell me where to get a decent looking bumper comparable to the Rugged Ridge. It is going to be for a 99 wrangler (christmas gift for my father). He likes the style of the pre-runner types. Any comments would be appreciated!

There has been alot of talk about those here in the past few days. Here is one thread:
http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/quality-these-bumpers-351105/ I was going to get one until i found out the approach angle was decreased dramatically

Did Rugged Ridge buy out Smittybuilt?
Because those bumpers look pretty similiar if not exactly the same. |

Yea, i asked that same question in another similar thread. There are a few venders selling the src bumpers on ebay for pretty cheap. Same thing 4wd.com did with the tube fenders (still dont know if anyone ever got them or not)
Actually, i had ordered the omix-ada 7" flares, the box said rugged ridge on it as well. Really threw me off. Here ya go: http://www.omix-ada.com/ That bumper is on the main page.

I have this front bumper and love it, i didnt find that it cut my approach any at all.
I have had the front of my jeep resting on the bumper on decent that went bad and the bumper held up great under the stress. ![]()

I've thought about this bumber. But I think it only looks good and is worth getting if you have or plan on getting a winch. I'm not going that far with mine. I may go for their twin tube front bumper though.
