Rubicon Stock Lockers???

I got my rubi its 100% stock and i want to know where the air compressor intake is for my lockers. Some one told me that the compressor was down by the x-fer case skid and that if you go through water deep enough you can pump water into your diffs via you LPA compressor. First is this true second if so what the heck was jeep thinking, and third does any one know if there is a way to cange where the compressor is mounted or make a "snorkel" of sorts to pull the air from the engine compartment.

No, that is not true.

The locker pumps are located down behind the Tcase (there is a pic in the 'Nth TT' link in my sig), the pumps have an intake air hose that goes to a much higher location to intake air (like a snorkle). The can intake air no problem being completely submerged.

Some folks who run the Rubi in a lot of water re-locate the pumps to the ABS tray under the hood. I have no issues with mine as I stay pretty dry. I don't think people have problems with the pumps sucking water as those pumps usually are not running, once they get up to 5psi they shut off. But water in the wiring can be an issue sometimes.
