Do I need to use a thin layer of hi-temp rtv with the rubber valve cover gasket? Also can someone tell me the proper order of which to tighten the bolts. From center out? 30in lbs of torque?

use the rubber gasket dry, dont put rtv on it. does the gasket have steel inserts for the bolt holes? tighten it from the center out, alternating sides. not sure on how "tight" if it has the steel inserts then just til it stops.
