Rough Country Front Track Bar?

I am shopping around for an adjustable front track bar. Rough Country seems to have a decent product for the money. Does anyone have experience with this?--or can you recommend something better, and why is it better? Thanks

Okay, so is there any major differences between the JKS and RC track bar besides brand? Talk to me.

So if I buy the RC, I'm not skimping on quality? Cool. I couldn't care about brand then.

I just ditched the crappy RC TB and put on a Currie. The RC was a PITA to install and caused DW. I installed my Currie yesterday and all my DW issues are over.

Hard Bushings and the 22mm TRE threads are Issues IMO, That is the same as the skimpy pitman arm TRE which Rusty's also uses.... that's skimpy compared to Currie and JKS.

if yer lucky, it'll bend instead of bust...

RC still hasn't sent me a Front Track Bar to Test MY Way either to put the matter to rest......

I want your factory 07-up take-off/thrown out JK front/rear Lower Control Arms! Bent ones are perfect also as long as the bushings and cold cut rings are in good shape/useable

RC track bar wasn't crappy or a PITA to install and didn't cause DW.Installer did that! Lay off the alcohol when working on simple things.

It's HD and does a great job.Bad instalion causes most problems with any mod. That's why I do everything myself and save on labor and *****ing about products.

The bushings can cause and contribute to DW... that's why I'll never recomend or use one...

Send me yours, I'll put it on and take pics with the springs removed of the clearance issues, if you're lucky, I won't send it back to you bent!

I have the RC front adjustable bar and I am happy with it. Installation was pretty simple to me. The only issue I had was I didn't have the drill bit they recommend and couldn't find one at any store. So I just used the closest bit I could get and the bolts slide right in.
The bar took the bump steer out. I am very happy with it.
I also run it with Currie HD steering.

How did you bend that may I ask??--and what's a TRE. Us new to the Jeep world don't understand your abreviated lingo.

A track bar does one simple thing. That's to prevent your axle from going side to side on you right? How in heck did you bend it? Severe wheeling?--Rock Crawling?

TRE = Tie-Rod End. lots of track bars use tie-rod ends, because the frame mount is tapered like the steering knuckle.

the track bar sees A LOT of stress...some people actually rip the mounts off the frame or the axle ends. its not just wheeling where it sees stress either, every time you corner...it keeps the axle centered under the vehicle under all conditions.
