Rough Country 2.5 springs, now what shocks?

Hi

I've got a set of RC 2.5 springs and some spacers (not sure what those are for ) and I'm looking for shocks to complete the kit since I'm assuming my stock shocks won't work. Any suggestions on shocks to use with these coils? If I can buy just the RC 2.2 shocks, or should I even bother with them?

Shock lengths, links, prices are always helpful

Thanks guys!

How is buying over priced shocks "doing it right".

I have the 2.2 shocks and they are working great for me. $100 for all 4. If they go bad it a few years I'll replace them.

Depends on what your concept of what expensive is, buy a set of $25 dollar each shocks, then when your tired of it riding like your 4 year old's tricycle then go buy some more expensive shocks, or maybe you will dig the feeling of the tricycle ride, I don't know? I guess a lot of people prefer that type of ride.

Did you buy yours with the lift kit, I had the JF RC guy tell me he wants $200 for all 4! If that's the case I should just pay the extra $75 and get the whole kit and sell the springs.

The rancho rs5000 would come out to $130 (4wheelparts is having a sale + $50 rebate).

My TJ already rides rough, I've pulled over a few times just to make sure I didn't have a flat so I'm hoping these cheaper shocks aren't too bad.

The spacers are probably .75" that will make it a 3.25" lift.

I have the 2.2 that came with the kit. The ride is pretty good. I would recommend them.
