Do you have any pics with the 2.5 lift installed? I think I've decided to not go the JK route and I've found an '06 model that is serious need of a lift. Thanks a bunch.
That's a good price.I was wondering about selling the springs only also.(I just bought new shocks).Do the springs give a true 2.5" lift or 3.5" without super heavy equipment(like Rancho HD springs).
My Jeep is almost entirely stock and the lift only gave me 2 inches of lift. Maybe a hair over. If you have armor and other stuff, the lift will be 2 inches or less. 2.5 inches is probably the highest lift you will get.
the market has been looking for a true coil lift that is cheap. The only problem is whether or not this kit rides like your older kits? If I knew it felt somewhat like stock I would buy one today!
Also with some springs you have to run bump stop extensions and what not due to over compressing the spring and causing damage. Is this the case with these? Or since they are progressive rate can the be completely compressed without worries?
I could sell the coils at $ 100 a set so for 4 coils $ 200 plus shipping. The ride is vary comparible to stock we have played with the shock valving on the 2.2 to make the ride as good as possible. I will have video as soon as we get it cut of the progressive rate coils in action. If some of you would like to try a set let me know.
if it's to an APO/FPO address RC does ship to them. when i ordered my 4" x-series lift i forgot to change my shipping address from my billing address and my lift kit winded up in afghanistan...
could you ship this lift with the 2.2 shocks for your 4" kit for added droop, and since they have bumpstops on them i wouldnt have to worry about killing the shocks right?, i would also bumpstop for 4" of lift. Also, what is the actual lift height of this kit?
We have the part where it shows the progressive rate spring in action and still have to get some wheeling video and edit it all together. Hopefully, we can shoot the wheeling part in the morn and have it all done by thurs or fri.
Anyone running these springs an shocks yet? I had a bb on my old Jeep and i'm very interested in a SL with this one. I noticed the kit dont include bump stops?
I'm hoping u can run without them and get crazy flex. With my BB on and no bump stops in the front. It made quick work of my front springs in just only a few trips. This is why I'm so interested in these.
i might pick up a pair... what shocks are recommended with these?
and for $266 thats not a bad price...
