the ride is a lot better with the RC set-up. i need to lower the psi on the km2s
it's pretty stiff at 35psi.

He's not wrong if were talking about doing it the right way...

Sure you can run a TJ with 3.5" of suspension lift with stock control arms and stock track bars, stock sway bar end links, but it's not the right way to do it. The higher your springs are the farther off center your axles become, and if you don't have longer control arms it pulls your axles in closer to the center of the Jeep. If you don't run longer sway bar end links your sway bars will be at the wrong angle and it will not handle as well on the road and not flex as well as it could off road.

You really want longer control arms after 3" of suspension lift.

You could. But for MY tastes, it would be too much of a squeeze. Not too much more to add the 1.25" BL/1"MML combo to give you 3.75" of lift.

Well I have to buy new tires by tomorrow and I'm only running on 2.5" of lift. I want to add a 2" body lift when I have more money, or just call that guy back and have him install the 1" spacers and buy the other parts needed as soon as I get the money. Is it possible to run that extra 1" coil for a few weeks without problems? I'm not going to be offroading it until everything is finished.

The unlimited would probably look better with the 35's. I think you could add the 1" spacers and run the 35's then add the BL to give you more clearance.

I just ordered the rc 2.5" susp lift + 1.25 bl combo. i also ordered the rear track bar bracket and stabilizer. Just curious, i have seen in this thread that alot of people combine the body lift with the 1" mml. the kit comes with the t-case spacer. will i need the mml? if yes, could you explain why? i spend too much time on the hwy and dont want any vibrations. Thanks!

I only want 33s though. You're sure I can safely add that spacer?

Sorry.. I misunderstood. A bit too much wine this evening, perhaps.

You could definately add those spacers. I guy I work with has a
2"BB ONLY and running 33x12.50 Swampers. Looks a bit weird but it works none the less.

I'm adding .75" spacers to the 2.5" springs... like i said I ordered that 3.25" kit!
