Rocker Panel Selection

I just removed the side steps from my TJ as well as the stupid little fender thingys. In order to protect the side of my Jeep I'm going to be getting a set of rocker panels. I wish I could afford the $200 rockers but I can't at the moment. What is a good set of rocker panels for a '98 that aren't too expensive?

Good for cheap, kinda of contradiction.

You could check on Ebay and see if you can find a set of used Rubi guards, I see them on there once in awhile, much cheaper than $200. But you get what you pay for, I think the Rubi's are made of aluminum.
Save your cash and buy some from Rock-it Man, A to Z or TBT.

Don't forget Shrockworks as well. As for cost, these are all pretty much between $200.00 and $300.00. Definately save up for the good stuff!

So these are basically the heavy duty rocker guard/side step combos. Yea I wish I had money for them but at the moment I do not and I need something to protect the sides of my Jeep.

Zach at AtoZ's base rocker is only $145. And there are a few of us who can attest to their strength and quality. Click the link in my signature.

I personally like the PSC Rocker Knockers but I also have the tube fenders to go with them. The Rock-it Man & A to Z rockers are also very high quality.
