Your gonna see a million different opinions on this subject, as it is a very popular topic of conversation. I went with the Shrockworks rock sliders, but there are other good ones as well...Rock-it Man, A to Z, etc...

About the only thing I can think of then if your not wanting a rocker such as Shrockworks etc...it a Posion Spyder Crusher corner which will more or less cover the area your talking about..but they are designed to work in conjunction with a rocker guard to cover the entire area...dont know if that helps.

If I understand you correct, you want the functionality and convenience of the Jeeperman frame mounted skids, but the protection and look of the body rocker guards, right?

If so, then the Rubicon rocker guards might be okay for you as you are protected with the Jeeperman skids from serious damage. The Rubicon ones would protect and cover the rockers from scratches and such. Just don't expect them to protect for much more.

Personally, I went with rocker guards with tube rails on them. They function as a step and as protection w/o mounting to the frame. If mounting height is an issue for you or your s/o, you could get those stirrup things (like what you use to get on a horse) and keep them up and out of the way when driving.

Keep moving forward. But keep an eye on history, for if you don't, you are doomed to repeat it.

pretty much, i liked how my old yj had the fender flares running the length of the jeep. on jeepermans website the jeep they have with the rck railz, has like a rocker protector on it thats part of the flares, i like that- just cant find it.

If so that is original older style Sahara trim from the factory.

BD(Big Daddy Offroad),They are wide enough to function as mud/spray diverters/3/16 steel and can be used as steps, give great ground clearance and have close to the same pattern or look of the factory flares,,,,,,,,,,but they are not connected to the frame and the tub must be drilled. Works for me though ! 4WD is having a 10% off sale as we speak.
