I'm planning on sticking ATF+4 in my 231 TC. I'm not sure if ATF+3 will work.

T case=1.1 quarts ATF+3 or ATF +4
6 speed=2.4 quarts Mopar part # 04874464AA or Synchromax (meets Mopar MS-9224 specs)
Royal Purple synchromax,Pennzoil synchromesh,Amsoil synthetic.

Here ya go

This is from the 2005 FSM,,, I like the Amsoil Synchromesh 5w30 myself in the tranny and Mopar ATF+4 from Wally's for the T-Case.

TRANSFER CASE - NV231
Recommended lubricant for the NV231 transfer
case is Mopar ATF +4, Automatic Transmission
Fluid.
MANUAL TRANSMISSION
NOTE: DaimlerChrysler recommends using Mopar
lubricants or lubricants of equal quality.
NSG370 - Mopar Manual Transmission Lubricant
MS-9224

thanks guys ! i am at ~49,000 KM, i guess it's time to change these fluids along with the spark plugs..
My Jeep will be happy

Already did my brake bleeding with a new DOT3. Do i need to change the power steering fluid also ?

Am i missing something to complete the maintenance ? i have a 4 banger (2.4 L)

I used Royal Purple Synchromax in my NSG370, improved the shifting. I used Advance auto brand ATF+4, which is synthetic in the 231.
