Right LED tail light intall

Ok, I've started preparing my Jeep to do the LED tail lights. Behind the right tail light there is a black box of some sort that will obviously get in the way of cutting and installing the LED. What do I do? Can I move this box? Do I have to cut first, carefully, and then move it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated... and soon being that my Jeep is in my garage taken appart.

thanks guys

that is the charcoal canister (relocated in either 02 or 03 to that location)
your best bet from the ones I have seen is to remove it - the bracket may
have to be 'slightly' modified to fit the LED housing. and then reinstall when
complete with the LED install.

I think there are 2 bolts to remove to drop it out...best to talk to someone who
has done one firsthand (I have seen it done but I wasn't paying that close
attention because I was working on another jeep at the time.)
