That sounds cool, I have seen military Jeeps with this arrangement all the way to present so parts should be readily available. Unfortunately Grumman corporation won the mail contract but still there a few of those around in 2WD but either way parts are available for vehicles sold overseas like Australia, South America and Africa......Jon

I was planning to sell them, buyer would have to use their seat bases. I have a matching barely used back seat as well, it may have some cobwebs. Yes, NE, near Jax.

Hmmm...I would have to mod my sliders, but how much are you asking for all 3?

Are you willing to separate & sell just the fronts?

If he backs out maybe we can work a trade out for the top.

Wow, 2 1/2 years later!!!

Been a long rough hiatus...

A series of complicated medical issues and two moves later I'm finally back on my feet for what I believe will be for good.

Not much has changed on the Jeep.

I have a pile of parts in the back of her, just need to get moving on it. My last move put me in a condo with now garage

I have the Savvy steering skid and front bumper corners, rear disc brake conversion parts and caliper flip tuff, Savvy trail doors, and Poison Spyder hood panel that need to go on, along with a HMMWV intake cap to get rid of the ARB tree catcher snorkel. There may be some other random stuff to. I can't remember and haven't had time to sort through the pile.

I'm really hoping to get moving on her. I'm at the mercy of friends who will let me come use their garage and lend a hand for now. Or maybe some time soon I will be able to get away to my Charlotte where I know I can get some shop time and helping hands.

I did take in the dead Diehard Platinum only to find out they no longer sell them. So, I was given a Diehard Gold and a $40 refund. Drove her to work today and it was kind of scary! I've got severely bent tie rod and looks like worn drag link, and I knew the track bar was in dire need of replacement. I have an OE RHD track bar in the trunk of my car, I just have to get it modified to go on there.

Just wanted to check in. I was finally medically cleared to return to work today, but not much to do other than web cruise. I'm sure they'll assign me a PITA project soon...

So... I've been trying to drive it to work 1 or 2 times a week so that it's not sitting all the time.
Yes, the steering and front track bar is jacked up and I have it toed out to make the death wobble go away until I can fix it properly.
But, it's a short drive.

Hop in and crank it up this morning and the MIL is on.
P0456
So, now I have an evap leak to track down.
Maybe I'll get lucky and it's just a gas cap issue...
