replacing pcm

i belive i need a new pcm not 100% sure my jeep will idle usually fine sometimes it will idle up and down. my gauges will some times jump around . i pulled up engine codes 11 and 12 before but today i tried to drive down the street and it died then wouldn't start i discoed my battery - cable retightened then positive and retightened and then was able to start it and limp home i then pulled codes 11 12 23 24 22 42 which sounds like low voltage to my sensors . and pcm power was lost. i guess it could be a short somewhere. i have 2 batteries (custom bracket) and clean connections. any body ever swap pcm i have a friend with a 97 also same setup as mine 4.0 5spd should i swap them any special thing i need to do when swapping pcms?
