Replace the steering wheel
Has anyone ever tried to do this? I did a quick search on google and on here and couldn't find much. Can it be done relatively easily?

Disconnect the battery and wait 15 minutes to make the airbags safe. Remove some trim screws and airbag screws, remove the steering wheel nut and use a steering wheel puller. Takes about 10 minutes once the airbags are safe.

so if i found, say a jk steering wheel, could i pull off the one I have now and the jk one would screw right in?

XJ and TJ share the same steering wheel.

You probably cannot make a JK steering wheel "fit".
