you can try using a pitman arm puller, but a big hammer will do it, try some heat maybe as well.

I tried using a 'regular' hammer and couldn't get mine out. I switched to a 3lb hammer and it took two swings.

so +1 on the BFH

Heat from a torch, and then a nice 3lb ballpien hammer worked for me, two good hits and flew right out.

This is exactly what i hate about internet douchbags! Everybody thinks there a badda$$ and tells the other person to "go search". If you know the answer to something, help a guy out and tell him the damn answer, post a link, something. Just because it took YOU forever to find answers and YOU had to do all the searching, you think other people should suffer with you. ******r!

soak it with pb blaster, let it set for 45 minutes to an hour.
try to use the hammer again, it should pop right out.

this worked for me.

Another vote for pitman arm puller. PB blaster soak for a few hours and a couple turns of the wrench.
