Reinforcing where windshield frame and roll bar meet.

mI was on a run this last weekend and we had a 05 Rubicon Unlimited go over backwards on an obstacle. Does anyone know where you can get some type of steel reinforcement to beef up the left and right sides of the front windshield frame? We had to winch the left and right mullions out about 6 inches.

Someone on the trail thought there might be a bracket that would mount to the lower body frame behind the front edge of the door and then attach to the bolts where the Rubicon side roll bar attaches to the windshield framing.

I found on line a company in NE, RockHard 4x4 and have ordered a sport cage for my Rubicon. I will let everyone know how it comes out as it is a bolt on application to cover the entire front passenger area.

If you'll do a search for "sport cage" or "rockhard sport cage" on this forum, you'll find a lot of people happy with the RockHard 4x4 product spoken of above. I don't have one, but after seen first hand how well (read poorly) the stock roll bar simply tied into the windshield frame holds up in a flop, it's on my list.
