redneck throttle

anyone seen a redneck throttle? i got a bud who has taken a bicycle shifting lever/cable the ones that click/lock into place and hook it to throttle and mount it on the stick for 2 pedal use lol.i keep telling him hes nuts and gunna get hurt lol.
anyone ever heard of someone doing this or is he straight up redneck

There are a lot of posts on making your own "Home Made" versions and installation of all types.

Most people call it a "hand throttle" and there are tons of thread on this.

maybe you can call it a THUMB throttle.......






maybe do some wheeling, you will find out these things

Here's mine. I use it EVERYDAY as my "Kentucky Kruise Kontrol" while commuting and in uneven terrain while wheelin'.
