Redline Alternatives for AX-15

I have a 99tj with the 4.0 and 5 speed. My understanding is that this is the AX-15 tranny. I've done a search and it seems the most recommended synthetic fluid for this tranny is Redline MT90. No one in town carries Redline. Are there any other synthetics that work as well. How about Amsoil or Mobil 1 or Schafer? Redline is just very hard to find and quite expensive from what I've seen.

You can order directly from redline at pretty good prices (beat local prices even with shipping when I ordered last). Other than that, I would just get Mobil 1 since it's easily available and very good.

Mobil-1 does not make a gear lube that is compatible with the AX-15. The problem with Mobil-1's 75W-90 gear lube is that it is a GL-5 which means it has additives that are harsh on the gear synchronizers. Redline MT-90 is a GL-4 which does not include those particular additives. GL-5 lubes are primarily meant for the hypoid-cut gears inside the differential.
