The rebuild of my heep begins!!! Horsehunter build!!

Well lets give a little insite to the history of my heep. Bought it off my dad as a bone stock jeep. Got it home after three long days going from South Dakota to Ocean city Maryland. It soon found it self getting new shoes 31x10.5x15 BFG Land Terrains. preatty much stayed that way for a couple of years till i got the bug to start doing mods and figureing out what i wanted to do with it. Did a 1 inch daystar body lift, used budget boost and new 15x8 crager soft 8's.
This is what she looked like with the 31's and stock rims with bb and bl.

After getting divorced and moving to Arizona i did a RE 4.5 short arm lift.

Then on July 30 2009 I encountered a sucidal horse while on my way to work.

Well after finding out the insurance company was going to repair it i started planning its future.

Plans are TNT tube fenders and full corner armor, aussie locker with 4.88 gears up front and a 8.8 with LSD 4.88 in back. Full aluminum 2 core radiator, 4.0L upgrade from the 2.5L boat anchor. 35x12.5x15 Goodyear MT/R's. Rokmen Mercenary front bumper and Thedirtworks rear bumber with swing out carrier for tire, jerry cans and hi lift. Savvy gas tank skid and rocker sliders.

You might as well go with the AEV high line hood and the new Treks (TNT) high line tube fenders! That'd be sick.

The AEV high line hood was discontinued and can only be purchased with the fenders now.

Make a black silhouette of a horse with a red slash through it to put on the fender.

Good Luck with the build. The WWII era kill counter like on the sides of the planes is a great idea...

dude that looks exactly like mine when i wrecked it. Like in my wreck it completely missed the bumper and went straight into my grille. Fenders and hood looked the exact same.

Wow, for the past few weeks, i've been thinking that it was a JK due to the grille being pushed back from the horse!

I'm so observant!

From my understanding only the standard AEV hood for the TJ was discontinued b/c they used stock TJ hoods purchased from DC and pressed in their center piece.

The JK hoods and high line TJ hoods are all made from their custom press mold so they're still in production I believe. And from everyone I've talked to, there wouldn't be a problem acquiring a new high line version without the kit.

Well today consisted of removal of the front fenders and grille assembly. Also found that my steering gear box took some damage. Looks like the input shaft is bent. I will get into that more this weekend. I just replaced the damn thing to. I think i will see if the warrenty will work. Might cut a seal and say it was leaking! Will be ordering my TNT fenders and new grille and hood monday. I will post pics this weekend of how she is sitting now.
