Rear wiper switch stopped working
Last night I went to turn on my rear wiper, it sprayed fluid, but the wiper didnt work ... it was working before I stopped for gas, but when I got back into traffic and needed the rear wiper it didnt work and the switch kinda moves like its loose in the housing. Is there anyway to fix this or has this happened to anyone else? Thanks.

I suggest pulling the switch out and inspecting the contacts. Remove any corrosion, clean and try again. If it still doesn't work then get an ohm meter to check the switch operation. If that checks out then start checking voltages at the switch connector and hard top harness then the wiper.
I can send you connector pin outs if you need them.

I think I might have to replace the switch because its not sitting as snug in the housing as it once was. I havent looked at it yet today, but I have already found a dash piece that has a wiper switch in it and eliminates the ashtray like I have been looking for so double win.
Thanks and if I do end up needing the pin outs, I'll let you know, thanks.

Here's a really good write-up on the switch, why they fail, and how to fix them if you're so inclined...

I guarantee you thats the problem with yours. I just did mine last week. Be careful when removing the switch!

I used a 2 part 5 minute quick cure epoxy on mine. You can find it in any hobby shop and it is very strong.
