rear track bar relocation bracket

I lifted my 02 TJ 2 inches and now my drivers side rear tire is close to the spring cup, I can just get a finger in between the tire and spring cup. My Jeep is my daily driver, will the tire be ok if it is just driven on the street back and forth to work or should I get a relocation bracket?

Fill in your profile so we know more about your Jeep. What size tires are you running? Stock wheels?

Upper or lower spring cup? If upper then yes, a relcoation bracket will help more it away, if lower then you need spacers or wheels with less backspacing to move it away but it will never make contact so its not a big deal.

I would run it as is for a few days, you should be able to see any rub marks if it makes contact. If it does then get the relocation bracket or ajustable trackbar.

Ok, my jeep profile is filled out, sorry about that. I'm running 31" BFG AT's with the stock 15 inch rim. I've had it on since Saturday and have driven 200 miles or so, no wear on the tire at all, so it should be OK? It's the top spring cup that it's closest to.

Look at the perch for wear, not the tire. If you don't see any your likely fine for street driving. Take another peak in a couple weeks to be sure.
