Rear end help

Just got under my TJ and saw that my passanger rear spring is sitting off center from the perch. Now for the few months when i take off i am hearing this sound( lile metal on metal) then it goes away. I think the noise i am hearing is coming from that but i am not sure. Is the spring thing a big deal? And if so what do i have to do to fix it?

Have you tried jacking up the frame (sprung weight) to take the spring to full droop, and having at it with a crowbar?
