Rear Door dome light switch?
Has anyone found a kit or have a suggestion for a dome light switch on the rear door?

I just put a couple of Sylvania Dot-It lights back there, but they don't really help too much...but they are "mejore que nada" (better than nothing)!
![]() BTW, I'm originally from Jax, so I thought I'd just post up to say 'hi!' Cheers! M2 |

i am going to do what i did to my pick up; i bought fog lights and installed them in the bed then hooked up a simple switch in the cab. for my jeep i am going to try and find a cord light or something mount it out of site and put in a switch or 2 may colored lights too. bit of work but i think it will be cool

I've been thinking of using the bracket for the contacts for the third brake light (which I tossed) to mount a pin switch to a real dome light.
Those stick up lights work great if you get a brighter one. I use them in my boats, they're perfect. Some of those LED units aren't any brighter than a candle, get bright ones. |

Dot-It's are awesome. I just installed one of the long thin ones on my roll cage with some zip-ties. Lights the interior up better than the OE dome light did.
Thinking of adding two more thin ones behind the sun visors, purely for lighting up maps. Add a couple others to the luggage area. |

The light on the roll bar is of some help to un-load groceries and such, yep more light would be good too, I just hate having to go around to open a door to turn on the lights

I wouldn't think a switch for a light would be that hard. I would probably use a leftover cheapo wally-world rock-light. that should be enough to see by.
I use CatEyes on the visors. http://www.lakemichiganangler.com/store/Cats_Eyes_Cap_Lights.htm <-for illustration purposes only. They're like 3 bucks anywhere else.
