Just wonerin if anyone has removed the rear bench seat and opted for a rear bucket, allowing seating for three and more storage space?

Thats pretty cool. I have been thinking about that myself since I need the storage but also need a backseat. I've had my backseat out for this week and its been rough because I didnt realize how much I used it and mostly for one person, a 3 person Jeep wold be perfect...

I agree about the safety issue. Maybe for a platform, a metal piece of diamond plate that has attachments to the same cleats that the stock seat attaches to. Then put the seat to the side and use stock seat belts. Or, I like the idea of having the seat in the middle if good seat belt attachement points can be established. That way if there is a side impact, the passenger is away from the collision site. Definately armrests.
I would also be interested if anyone has put junkyard seats in front that have an arm rest on the inside.

Recently saw a local Jeeper that put a nice bucket seat in the back. The reason for it??? He wanted space for a rear seat passenger (the seat) and also room for his dog.
