I'm going with mad4wd. Why pay more, they're all 3/16", they all look the same.

Edit: I just purchased the mad4wd brackets tonight because of their 20% January discount. $238.73 shipped to my door. Price can't be beat and made in good ol' USA! (although they all probably are). I just hate buying chinese crap!

I went with mad4wd, for one reason - price.
They fit well, just a tad of clearancing to get everything perfect.

mad4wd is based in Ohio...my buddy has been to the shop a few times and says they are a great group of guys over there. When I get my brackets, mad4wd will be it for me.

I'll second that, Larry at Mad4wd is a good guy to deal with.

i know this is an old thread but i was looking for axle brackets for my D44 swap which is 2.75" axle tubes and this kit from mad4wd says Designed for 3.00" to 3.250" outside tube diameters. http://mad4wd.com/index.php?main_pag...roducts_id=322
so these wont work???? there are at least $50 cheaper than any where else i have seen

If you're really ambitious you could work the radius on those mad4wd brackets to fit a D44, but it would be a lot of work and no guarantee it would work

I've used the Currie, Ruff Stuff and Rubicon Express (under my TJ now) bracket kits

I talked with someone at mad4wd when i was building the latest axle, he said that they could setup a kit to work on the D44 tube, might give them a call
