Is for real - PS fluid

I have had my 2005 LJ for 10 years. Always kept up with fluid changes, with the exception of Power Steering. Now that I am aware of the flush needs, I started researching and was going to perform one, but only had one qt of ATF+4, so I decided to look at the fluid and maybe do a turkey baster change with the one qt for the short term. When I inspected the current fluid, it is setting just low for a hot system and was as clean as new fluid, considering it should look pink like AFT... Correct. Does this seem possible, it has 135k miles, of which I put on 110k in the 10 years I have owned it. I also have always run 33x12.50 tires of some make.. came with 3" BL from factory. Even the steering stabilizer was original until 118k, when I put in a Rancho RS5407..

The return hose still has the factory press on hose clamp on the return hose, so I know it has never been properly flushed.

Do I really need to change it, or just top it off?

I've always just used a suction gun to empty the reservoir and then refill it. At 165K plus mi now on the '06.

The PS pump on my '92 went over 250K doing this before the pump started to make noise.
