RC X-flex vs Currie adjustable control arms

I am looking for people with either set of adjustable control arms. I would like to hear about how long you have them/driven on them, how are they holding up, have they been rebuilt, problems with them, and ideally comparisons between the two if you have owned both sets

Thanks in advance for your input!

JJ's for 5 years now, no problems...

JJ's for 25,000 miles. No noises or issues of any kind. Two people close to me run RC joints--several have failed in short order. It's a much looser, lower quality joint. There really is no comparison, especially considering you can get a full set of Currie arms for about the same price as a set of the inferior RC arms.

I have the RC "X" Flex Joints and i have no compalnts! Have had them on for about 6 months. Have beat them pretty hard on the trails with no problums. If they were the same price as the JJ i would get them because, not saying these are bad or junk but, Currie has been the top dog for along time for a reason there products are top notch. Also the "X" Flex are are rebuildable, greasable, and of course flexable.

What are JJ's Guys? I have a set of RE Superflex Adjustables that I want to light on fire! Bushings are just killing me!!

Currie Jonny Joint control arms. They flex so you can have a bit more articulation and dont rip off your CA mounts. My RC "X" flex control arms are a pretty nice/beefy knock off of the JJ.

If you have SF arms, you have RE joints at one end. JJ = Currie Johnny Joint. Many people seem to think all joints are created equal. That's far from true.

Ahh.. Johnny Joint.. Got it!

Yeah, i should have went with the curries in the first place... I just hate the fact that I spent soooo much money on the RE product when my Pro Comp lift was doing just fine.. Spent $1K on RE just to inherit problems... LOVE THAT!

Replace the bushing end with superflex ends and be done with it. No more bushings. About $39 ea. if you look around for them.

Where can I find these?

ummm.........rubicon express?

RE3767 - LARGE S/F COUPLER ASSEMBLY - Rubicon Express

You can buy them direct but I've seen them advertised cheaper in some of the off road mags.

Buy new arms then. Your problem not mine. Just trying to help.
