RC 2.5 w/ 1.25 BL vs RC 3.25 vs Zone 3"

Which suspension lift should I go with???? I had narrowed it down between the first two and just heard about the "Zone".

I want to eventually run 33" tires, it's my DD, want an aggressive look, no hardcore off-roading mainly just some weekend trail fun and getting to hunting spots.

So which lift should I go with and what all would I "NEED" with the lift that doesn't come with it?...mml...adjustable track bar...steering stabilizer...etc

Thanks

I'm a huge fan of

http://www.dpgoff-road.com/site/OMETJkits.htm

Give Dirk a call, he'll answer any / every question you can think of.

Edit: I had the Super Ultimate on my 2001 for a year and absolutely loved it. Not a single complaint.

I would do a 2.5" lift and 1.25" body lift, then if you want to later on you can do a tummy tuck and make even more clearence and it keeps your center lower

I say go with RC, make sure you call Jeffery, and tell him you are a member of JF and he will give you 10% off, but you must call, not for online orders. Plus the BL will allow you to do a tummy tuck later, also look at get the MML from RC as well, it's only $60, and it makes things easier, and will take any vibes away you may get from the lift.

I REALLY like the "Deluxe Kit" but REALLY don't like the price. A bit more than what I want to spend with tires still to add and feel it's more than what I need at this time.

WHY the 2.5 with BL over the 3.25? Wouldn't the full 3.25 suspension provide more ground clearance?? I know you're more likely to get vibes with it but isn't it "cured" just as easy as the "Combo"? If I went with the "Combo", what else besides the MML would be NEEDED that doesn't come with the lift?

The price is worth it IMO. OME and JKS are two amazing brands with great customer service, and great products in general.

Most people get a 1" BL just for the 1" MML. with the MML you're much less likely to see driveline vibes. Another great reason is for future mods such as bellup t-case skid and gas tank skid. Not only that, but the MML will also raise your oil pan another inch from the rocks.

JKS sends you a t-case handle adjustment kit when you get the MML. Mine lined up perfectly after the lift, so I didn't use it. I guess it all depends on your Jeep.

There's a more feedback on the ZONE kits on the JK forum, not so much for TJ's. The few that have posted anything have been positive.

why do you say that, though? ive been under the impression that a BL is something you CAN do, and its fine, but a larger suspension lift is much better.

Less total suspension lift = less chance of getting vibes and doing a t case drop,MML or SYE.The BL adds more clearance without messing up the driveline angles any more.I'm going to running 35's with that lift and 1" spacers up front.

Gotta say RC 3.25 suspension lift which will give you the lift for the 33's, no BL to deal with and includes the rear trac bar mount kit, T-case drop kit, extended sway bar links, and performance shocks. Pretty wll complete but I would also order the 2.2 stabilizer as well.

I am not here to bash anybody. But are shocks and spacers really selling for $ 379. Man I really need to look at a big price increase j/k. But come on really are their shocks this much better than mine, BDS, Skyjacker, Tuff Country or any other companies shocks??

I will always back RC.I've had the old stuff and the new and it's all good. The new shocks are way better and I back you guys even though I never had to deal with you personally. That being said, can I get a $29 steering stabilizer (2.2)even though I didn't order it with my 2.5" lift a long time back? Thanks.
