I have heard of a lot of people having a similar situation, with a bunch of stuff not working right...they say, so I have heard, that a good drying out period will cure most of the ails...
I would do some checking into fuses, to see if the water shorted anything and blew any fuses, try and get as much water out of everywhere as possible and dry as possible, I don't know how the dealership will react to the whole water thing...

I had an incident like this a few years ago. Afterwards, the horn stuck "ON," radio didn't work, engine misfired, and check engine light stayed on.

I dried mine out in the sun for the weekend and eventually everything started working again. Perhaps I got lucky.?

Ah, the infamous clock spring. Did the same last year and it dried but the thing still has issues.

Google had 239,000 hits when I put it in.

It's basically an electrical contact on the steering column that provides juice to everything in the steering wheel; airbag, cruise, horn etc. Sounds like yours deffinately got screwed up from the rain. It might dry out but you might have to replace it too.

On most cars, the horn usually goes bonkers when the clockspring goes out, so consider yourself lucky that you own a Jeep because I've never heard of demonic horns with Jeeps for some reason. If you have a softtop just throw the top up next time. I drive in the rain without windows and doors with just the top up all the time

I didn't realize that was you in the other post. I don't know if it has a fuse but I don't think it would. The good news is that if your clockspring is screwed, as far as I know it only affects the airbag, cruise, horn and the turn signal cancellation - the thing that makes the signal go off after you make a turn. You can drive like that, but I'd suggest pulling the fuse or relay for the horn in case it goes nuts. (I work with cars and a while back I pulled up to a business in a sweet Porsche Carrera thinking I looked pretty cool until the horn started honking and wouldn't stop. Yep, nothing like a bad clockspring to take the 'cool' off)

All your other problems are probably seperate. Your radio probably got wet and has it's own unrelated problems. I don't know about the engine cutting out when you take your foot off the gas but if you have to jump off the Jeep it could be an unrelated dead cell in the battery. That would be a heck of coincidence though. See this thread for description of a dead cell: EDIT: wrong link deleted... try this one: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/tj-problem-261772/

I never had a problem with my old YJ except the removable face CD player. I dismantled it three times over the course of a year with no top or doors. In my TJ the only issue I have had is the blinker arm housing which was cheap to replace. I think I will just put some gasket sealer over the hazard switch to solve that problem. I made this thing out of an old fender guard in case of freak showers:

It's got some weight and hasn't flown off yet.
