rain and 5th

ok guy's you have been a great help so far so here we go agian, i did a bb added 31's to my 06 4 banger and i pretty much lost 6th gear- ok i kinda expected that- but today driving home (30 miles all hwy) in high wind and rain it felt like i had lost 5th gear also. i believe this is just because of the wind but i hope i haven't messed up anything guy please help

probably because of the wind. It should be fine. When i had my 33s and 3.73 gears it had a loss in the 5 gear feeling as well.
Some times I wish I had a 6th... haha

Cold wet air is denser than dry air,plus the rain resistance under the tires, more drag? I notice power losses everytime it rains here and I drive my diesel truck. I have a several mile long grade that takes a mashed go pedal to climb at 73mph max. When it rains its 65 max.

it rained all summer at home and i never could tell...

now that i'm in vegas, i'm doing a BB and throwing on some 32's. we'll see how that works. bye bye 5th
