Radio super quiet after sitting in the rain

So I'm mostly a forum stalker, but haven't found anything on my radio problem so figured I'd make my first post.

The issue I'm having is after letting my 02 jeep sit through an El Paso rain storm without the top on the radio stopped working completely. However after drying out for a few days it has came back but now it's super quiet. All the speakers are working they just don't get loud enough to hear when driving. I also think my battery is slowly going dead since every time I turn it on the clocks at 12:00. I'll most likely clean the terminals since they're a little dirty after mudding the other weekend and take it to see what the battery is pushing out.

I'm not to mechanically inclined especially when it comes to the electronics. It really doesn't bother me having no radio but I'm getting ready to drive back home to PA and it'll be an even longer trip without a radio. Thanks in advance for any ideas of what it might be.

Since I've first posted this I've cleaned the battery terminals and had the battery checked, and its fine. I also took out the head unit and checked the connections, just some dust back there. Doesn't even look like there's been any water that's leaked in.

Edit: Just noticed 'Electrical, Audio, GPS, & 2-Way Radio' should this be in there instead?
