R&P Questionare! What's in YOUR rearend?

Hello all! I would like to conduct a short survey of peoples different R&P ratios, how they feel about them, and what kind of driving they do with them. Please feel free to answer, and don't hold back your disgust (3.07's) or your happiness if you've found the magic number for your rig!

(Year, make, model, engine)

1) What is your R&P ratio?
2) What is your tire size?
3) What kind of transmission do you have?
4) Are you light or heafty? (bumpers, racks, winches etc.)
5) Are you running a lift?
6) What kind of driving do you do? (DD, trail rig, rockmonster, mudder,
city, highway, twisties, mountains, hills, rain/snow/ice...)
7) What RPM is your engine running at at 65MPH?
8) Do you tow/haul?
9) Have you installed any go fast parts?
10) Are you satisfied with your setup?

Thank you to all who participate! I think that this will help those of us who are going to be re-gearing our rigs, or me at least

7) with OD off around 2900-3000 rpm, with OD on around 2400-2500 (I'm gonna have to check this again, i think i'm a bit high as i was just trying to remember what it was)
8) Nope
9) Nope
10) As of right now? Yes, I am very happy with it. But I'm sure it'll change in the future.

Nice thread, I think this'll help quite a few folks out. Adds a little more than the standard "what gears should I get" thread

Gearing is rather simple. There are many that have gone before you. Tire size, transmission, engine size, is all you need for a recommendation.

Gonna keep an eye on this. I will be regearing next year. It will be good to see others opinions of their own setups that may be similar to what I plan on going with without having to ask the question myself.

1. 5.38
2. 39.50
3. NV3550 5spd
4. she's heavy
5. mix & match custom with coilovers
6. occasionally drive it to work and around but mostly just a trailered toy these days. I like rocks and snow.
7. I can't remember, a quick look at Grim's calculator says it should be about 2200. Seems low but it's been a month or two since I've had it on the highway.
8. She tows rigs off the trail occasionally but otherwise no
9. It has an aftermarket intake and custom exhaust but I wouldn't call them "go fast parts."
10. my 4.0 has tons of torque with this setup and she goes wherever I point her but she can have trouble keeping the rpms up on the longer crazier hill climbs. I think a 4bt or 360 swap and she would be about perfect.

1) What is your R&P ratio? - 4.10
2) What is your tire size? - 33x10.5
3) What kind of transmission do you have? - AX-15
4) Are you light or heafty? On the light side
5) Are you running a lift? 2.5" RC Suspension, 1.25" Body
6) What kind of driving do you do? DD with wheeling when ever I get the chance- it sees lots of city driving on campus, but also plenty of 65-70 mph stuff too
7) What RPM is your engine running at at 65MPH? No idea, whatever the calculators say
8) Do you tow/haul? Nope
9) Have you installed any go fast parts? I spend my money on useful stuff that works
10) Are you satisfied with your setup? I swapped axles from a 4 cyl (now Rubi rear though) so I only spent 200 bucks after selling my old axles, and for that price I am extremely satisfied. If I were to choose a gear ratio though, it would have been 4.56, I could use just a few more rpms when I'm doing more than 70 and loaded with gear. All in all though I like it just fine.
