Quick question TC drop

I have a 2002 wrangler. I am at school and do not have access to any tools. I had a shop put in a new clutch for me a while back and I figured that they might as well put in the TC drop kit that came with my lift that I never bothered putting on. When they installed the spacers however, they did not loosen up the trans mounting bolts. Thsi has caused the shifter boot to bind up. I have been researching and I found one guy that said to loosen the bolts, but do not remove them. Then drive around real quick and then tighten the bolts. Would this be the correct thing to do?

Thanks

Before the TC drop was installed, did you have any driveline vibrations?

Just loosen the bolts a little and drive it for a couple minutes.

have a friend take you, or ride the bus, down to the local harbor freight so you can buy this:

or better yet, go to sears and buy this:

loosen the bolts, then grab the roll bar and shake/rock the jeep as hard as you can. retighten the bolts and you're done. you don't have to go driving, and you can comfortably reinstate your man card.
