Quick Question

Hey Guys, I was hoping to get some quick help from the TJ ers.

So I have a 94 YJ, and just like the earlier TJ's, voltage regulation occurs in the PCM/ECM. Has anyone bypassed the ECM voltage regulator and used an external regulator? What are the advantages/disadvantages of doing so?

I have my eyes on this kit:

What have you guys done? Thanks!!
