quick plz! installing cat back, cant squeeze tail pipe through
hey guys, hoping for a quick response here,
in the middle of installing dynomax cat back, and im having issues trying to find a way to get the tail pipe through, in one peice. for those who have done this can you offer any advice? 99 TJ 2.5L thanks! - Alec edit, btw i am doing this in my drive way with a simple floor jack, goes up to about 15" or so.

What part of the Jeep are you jacking up??? Place the jack forward of the rear dif on the passenger side and jack until just before the tire come off the ground... This should give you enough space between the body and axle... Use a block under your jack if its not tall enough... And of course, safety first, chock the tires and pull EB....

I had a similar problem....
I jacked up under the rear bumper with a big block of wood till the axle was sagging as far as it would go and managed to man-handle the thing through. |

thanks duders, got it in.
lifted it up right a foot from the wheel, and had to take off the rear bracket for the exhaust and force that bugger in. dynomax is in, looks good, sounds pretty good so far in the driveway.
