Quick CEL Question

Does a Jeep CEL light go out immediately after fix.... or does it delay 3 starts like my 02 Dodge??

Tried fix this am. Just wondering if I solved my problem with Friday's attempted fix ... or this am?

Depends on the problem, may take several warm up cycles to reset it. Disconnect the battery for a few minutes and the PCM will clear.

My code cleared today...on first startup, right after I tried something.
On my 02 Dodge, it always took 3-5 restarts. I'm suspecting earlier yrs may have been less sophisticated??
