bumper cutting and bolt on stinger

ok, so i have been looking around and have not been able to find a bolt on stinger for the warn rock crawler bumper. do they make one? i thought i have seen one out there before but just not able to find it now.

also, since i currently have the rock crawler bumper, if i cut the ends off right before the fame. will it make the bumper not strong enough for the winch or will it pose any major safety concerns? i dont see how it would, but just making sure before i go citting.

below i posted an older picture, i no longer have the fog lights on it. the first picture is the whole bumper. the second is where i plan on cutting it off, the red area.

I can't imagine how cutting it off outside the frame rails could weaken it between the rails where the winch mounts???

Be very careful with the wife mod. Uninstallation can be extremely expensive. Wife mods have been known to take the Jeep and all other mods during the uninstall process. Also, make sure you service your wife mod properly as often as humanly possible. Wife mods not properly serviced may malfuction or uninstall themselves at any time.

Assuming it's bolted from the top and bottom, the only way it would make it weaker is if the shortest distance between the bolt and a free surface is now the cut plane. I think this would only matter if you had a resultant force off axis (not straight forward), like a deformation of the bumper (crash) or getting yanked out crooked. I wouldn't worry about it, just cut it.

The winch isn't bolted to the bumper anyway, cut all you want.

By "stinger" if you mean the long extended stinger hoop, any welding shop can make you one.
But if you just mean a hoop, Warn makes one, I love mine...
